I am a psychodynamically trained counsellor, with many years experience of working in a mental health setting, within the NHS and for charities, such as Samaritans and Place2Be. I work with adults and young people.
Working together we can develop a greater understanding of your thoughts and feelings and explore how you can move forward to begin to enjoy life again. Life can provide challenges, making us feel overwhelmed and struggling to cope. By exploring how we function and facing our fears we can develop a greater understanding of our inner thoughts and how they affect our ability to face and overcome challenges.
Whatever is troubling you, depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, OCD, bereavement, trauma, suicidal thoughts, contact me and we can discuss how I can help.
I hold BACP Accrediation. This provides a quality standard, meaning I have achieved a required standard of training and am able to demonstrate high standards of knowledge, experience and development within my counselling practice. I work under the BACP ethical framework demonstrating, trustworthiness, respect and honesty. Ethical considerations, underpin the work I do, maintaining confidentiality and good practice.
